At Our Lady Academy, athletics have always been more than just competition—they are a tradition of excellence, perseverance, and teamwork. With 34 state championships across multiple sports, our athletes have built a legacy that deserves to be celebrated. That’s why we are excited to launch a fundraising campaign to enhance our gym with state championship banners and transform “The Gap” into Harry’s Hall of Champions—a space dedicated to showcasing OLA’s rich sports history and the incredible impact of Coach Harry Hull.
Honoring Coach Hull’s Legacy
Coach Harry Hull became part of OLA in 1985, following in the footsteps of Barbara Marochino Powell ‘75, who led OLA to its first state championship in 1973. Under his leadership as athletic director and math teacher, OLA continued to grow into a powerhouse in high school athletics. His impact included coaching and supporting multiple sports, as well as being a driving force behind OLA’s continued athletic success. Though he retired in 2014, Coach Hull remained a beloved figure at OLA, always supporting our students and teams.
What is Harry’s Hall of Champions?
This repurposed space will be a permanent tribute to our athletes and coaches, featuring:
🏆 Collages of all state championship teams
🏆 Recognition of individual state champions (dating back to 1973!)
🏆 A showcase of school record holders
🏆 A tribute to Hull Award winners
How You Can Help
To bring Harry’s Hall of Champions to life, we need to raise $15,000. Your tax-deductible donation will go toward:

✔️ Creating the Hall of Champions display
