Our Lady Academy proudly announces that senior Kimber Pennell has been accepted into the distinguished Trent Lott Leadership Institute Class of 2030 at the University of Mississippi.

The Trent Lott Leadership Institute (TLLI) is a highly competitive program dedicated to developing students into principled, impactful leaders through academic excellence, public policy engagement, and experiential learning opportunities. Admission into the Institute recognizes students who have demonstrated

exceptional leadership potential, academic achievement, and a commitment to service.
Pennell’s acceptance reflects her outstanding accomplishments both in and out of the classroom. Throughout her time at Our Lady Academy, she has exemplified the school’s mission of faith, scholarship, and leadership through active involvement in academic organizations, service initiatives, and extracurricular activities. Her dedication to excellence and passion for making a positive difference in her community set her apart during the rigorous selection process.
At the University of Mississippi, Pennell will join a select cohort of students who benefit from specialized coursework, leadership training, mentorship opportunities, and direct engagement with policymakers and community leaders. The program equips students with the skills and ethical foundation necessary to lead in public service, business, law, and beyond.
