Congratulations to the Soccer team 1A/2A/3A State Soccer Champions. They defeated St. Joe 4-0.

Mr. Evans, with Herff Jones, will be on Campus, Thursday Feb. 11th & Friday, Feb. 12th. in the Commons at 8:00am to meet with the Juniors who are ordering their class rings. Please remember to bring your $50 deposit.

Jr. High Dance “Happily Ever After Ball”: Open to grades 7-9. Friday, February 12th. It will be held in the OLA Commons 8-11pm. Admission is $10 (single) and $15 (couple). Tickets will also be available at the door. Happily Ever After! All proceeds go to Make-A-Wish Fund. 

“Haiti Love Kits”: OLA is creating more Personal Hygiene Bags.  This time we are making health and hygiene kits for distribution to survivors of the Haiti Earthquake.  We are joining the MS Gulf Coast’s “Our Turn to Give” Donation Drive being held now to February 12.  The Hygiene Gifts will be called “Haiti Love Kits.”  The Love Kits will consist of washcloths, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, and sanitizer or wipes put into a gallon size plastic bag for individuals.  Please read the pink and red notices in the hallways for more information.  If you cannot donate a whole “Haiti Love Kit,” please think of giving one or more of the items listed and together we will make a number of kits.

OLA will have an open house on Sunday, February 28th, from 2-5pm. This is open to anyone interested in OLA from grades 7-12. Please call the school, 467-7048, ext. 16 for more information.
