In 2007-2008, 29 seventh graders (48% of the class) were recognized as Duke TIP scholars. Seven earned state recognition.
On the National Latin Examination, over the past three years, OLA Latin I students have earned 1 summa cum laude, 2 maxima cum laude, 6 magna cum laude, and 3 cum laude award(s). In Latin II, OLA students earned 4 maxima cum laude, 2 magna cum laude, and two cum laude awards.
100% of the classes of 2008 and 2009 were admitted to college.
