Talent Show:  Students, this Friday Feb. 10th your participation is needed!! We will host a talent show at the end of the day to showcase the talents you have to share with the world.  Sign-ups have begun and the form is on Mrs. Lindmark's hallway door.  PLEASE PARTICIPATE!!  If we don’t have enough participation, we will NOT have a talent show and will go back to class.

Jr. Youth Leg:  REMINDER: Notarized permission slips, conduct forms AND money are due NEXT Monday, Feb. 13th.      Meeting Next Monday, Feb. 13th.  All meetings are on Mondays.   No Wednesday meetings unless otherwise announced.  

Students, please check your uniforms. We have observed that the uniform policy has been getting a little laxed (example: skirt lengths, shoes, socks, jewelry, etc.).  If you can’t remember what is acceptable, you can check the handbook, page 22 or the list outside of Mrs. Gleber’s office. 

Senior Class Sister to Sister Scholarship: The Harlem Wizards will be at the Br. Peter Gym TONIGHT, Wednesday, February 8, 2012. The game begins at 7pm. Student tickets are $8 and adults are $10. Tickets bought at the door go up by two dollars for both ($10 students/$12 adults). Concessions will be available. To purchase a ticket you may see any senior or Mrs. Burleson.  Come on out and have a good time and support a good cause.

Track practices begin NEXT Monday, February, 13, 2012.  A sign up list is posted outside Coach Hull’s door for anyone interested in participating.

ACT: The ACT this Saturday will be held at SSC.  Those of who will be taking the test need to make sure to get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and be at registration at 8:00 AM.  Make sure to bring a photo ID, your registration ticket.    The only calculator you will be allowed to use is the TI Nspire (non-cas), the one with the 84 plate. You can check the ACT website for what is allowed and not allowed.  There will also be a list posted at the testing location, but if you bring the wrong one, you will NOT be allowed to use it.

Soccer: All JV and VARSITY Soccer Players, we have a MANDATORY SOCCER MEETING after school today.  Right after school in the commons. It will be Short.

Work Study: Those students who clean before and after school, there is a meeting next Tuesday, Feb. 14th, immediately after school in the Resource Room when the bell ring.   Go straight to the Resource Room when the bell rings.  THIS IS MANDATORY FOR EVERYONE!!!!

Guidance News:  Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors who wish to explore healthcare.  William Carey University is hosting a Healthcare Symposium on Saturday, March 3, from 9:30am-12:30 pm. It will be on the Hattiesburg Campus. Students will have an opportunity to discover trends in health care and details for a career in medicine, nursing, mental health, and other fields.  A complimentary lunch will be provided.  If you are interested, call 1-800-962-5991, ext. 103 to reserve your place today.  If you have any more questions, see Ms. Emmel.

Keep Bay St. Louis Beautiful is hosting the “The 2nd Annual (NO) Trash Bash-A Night of Recycled Fashion”. It will be held Wednesday, March 14th at 6pm in the Bay St. Louis Community Hall, across from the Depot.  The deadline to enter is Friday, March 9th.
